HERTFORD HEATH HAVEN
The Hertford Heath Nature Reserve is 69 acres of walker’s paradise. With two separate terrains and routes a plenty, it provides rich scenery for hikers, ramblers and dog-walkers alike.
The Roundings half of the reserve is a rare luxury of open heathland, with an abundance of blooming heather and wild flowers. Just a short walk down the road from The College Arms, it provides the perfect wildlife trail for avid explorers. The Goldingtons side is an area of impressive woodland with a mixture of vast oak and birch trees. Situated just across the road, it is perfect for the whole family to explore.

Relax into your surroundings and take in our welcoming atmosphere after a long dog walk. Whether you’re soaking up the sun in our garden or snuggled by the open fire inside you can do it with man’s best friend by your side.
Summer | feels 🤔 With the kids going back to school and the nights getting shorter we don’t want summer to end! ☀️ !!! This Saturday from 2pm !!! So why not join us for one last garden party 🥳 there will be music, bbq and many drinks flowing 🤪 To top it off we will be showing grease on the outdoor cinema screen 🚘 🎶 from 8pm!

Road | closures 🚫 The road closures down London Road do NOT affect the pub and you have full Access to us from the A414 roundabout by Mercedes garage, ignore all road closed signs as it’s closed from hailbury school just past us ☺️ We are open as usual everyday and will be for the continuing time the road works are being done We look forward to seeing you all 😍

Outdoor | cinema 🎥 There may be a delay in the film tonight due to the sun still being to bright ( i know what a excuse) 😂 fear not we had it up and running last night by 8:30pm so the delay should only be half hour tops! Still enough time to get a drink or something to eat ☺️
This | is | the | greatest | show 🎩 Tonight is the night! Film will be starting at 8pm and we will be serving food in the kitchen till 9pm so plenty of snacks to be enjoyed or grab yourself a bag of popcorn for £3 just ask any of the team 🍿 Please feel free to bring some blankets and comfier chairs if needed! Let’s get this show on the road 😍
